Reds are back in action!

Hi to all our members, 

We are back in action tomorrow in the seasons curtain raiser. Some would say normal service has resumed as we are the record holders of this piece of silverware and it would be great to win it for a 22nd time and also to beat the noisy neighbours too!

In fact United also have the distinction of appearing in this fixture the most times too (30) which goes a long way to answering the question of who is the best team in England.

Another interest fact is United have met City twice before in the Community Shield (1956 & 2011, winning both games, GGMU). Completing a Community Shield hattrick would make for a fantastic start to our season.

Lets hope for a Kobbie goal to go with his beaut against them in the FA Cup final and fingers crossed Rashford has a great game also topped with a goal as he has a great record against City (6, he's only scored more against Liverpool, 7 & Leicester, 8), plus it may just get him back on track for us.

We look forward to seeing everyone in Valentine's on Saturday for a 3.00 p.m. kick off.
