Great Interviews with MUSC Longford Greats!
On Friday we were treated to some great interviews from firstly our Chairman Padraic Carberry on local radio station Shannonside Northern Sound and then our President Seamus Gill made his voice heard on BBC Radio Manchester.
Padraic kicked off the morning with a nice chat on The Joe Finnegan Show where he talked very frankly about how we have been a team in transition and now is the time for us to push on and try to reclaim our place at the top of the Premier League table. While our Chairman was hopeful our new signings can do the business and get us back where we belong he was also realistic about the dangers Eric Ten Haag faces in the early part of the season.
JF put our struggles down to the managerial merry-go-round post the great Sir Alex Ferguson era and believed that his successor David Moyes should have been given more time in the Hot Seat. Joe said he had a grá for United but it sounded more like he had a grá for Moysey.
Then come Friday evening just before kick-off, live from Hotel Football, Seamus was quizzed by Gaz & Emily for Manchester Total Sport which you can hear below.
Well done Gentlemen, fantastic work flying our flag in all the right places and doing the Club proud, I'm sure we'll all be having pints and the craic on matchdays with you over the course of the season.
