30th Anniversary Trip

On Friday 31st January 2025, in the very early hours, the County Longford Branch of the Manchester United Supporters Club embarked on a journey we've been taking for an amazing 30 years now.

45 members boarded the bus en route to Bury for another great trip and with 54 members in total making their way to the Theatre of Dreams for Sunday's match (hopefully to witness our fantastic football team come away with 3 valuable points), it promises to be an excellent weekend!

After the game, all travelling members will remain in Old Trafford for a few post match drinks via The International Suite where we will mingle with fellow Reds from all over the world.

Our club secretary, Kevin Keenan, with the help of treasurer Nicola King will be on hand as always to help make it a trip to remember for each and every travelling member.  

We caught up with Kevin who is just as excited as everyone else to mark this fantastic achievement for our Supporters Club;

"Very much looking forward to this weekends 3 day trip, great to see some old faces back alongside new travelling members this weekend. This is the biggest trip in my time as branch secretary, a total of 54 members travelling to this weekend's game, of which we have 10 juniors. I have been working closely with Uniteds club liason manager Michael Lenihan since the start of the season in the build up to this weekend where Old trafford will officially mark our clubs fantastic milestone. I'd Like to thank all our members who make it all possible, also to the our branch committee who have been working hard behind the scenes fundraising over the last few months working towards our 30th anniversary celebrations in August.
